When you don’t use the extra supplies, you can likely bring it back to the store, however you’ll already be busy enough with your move, so avoid adding this task to the list! With a lot of planning, you can purchase almost exactly what you need, without having to worry about overspending or lugging the extra supplies to your new home.

Find Free Supplies
Visit local businesses or call your friends and family and find out if they have any boxes they can donate to you. While you’re at it, inquire about whether or not they have other moving supplies like bubble wrap or packing paper.
